Paulo Coelho de Souza is a renowned Brazilian lyricist, journalist, and novelist, widely recognized for his immense contributions to literature and popular music. Born in Rio de Janeiro, his early life was marked by artistic inclinations and rebellious spirits, which eventually led him into experimental theater and journalism during the turbulent 1960s and 1970s. Alongside his literary career, Coelho left a profound mark on Brazilian culture through his songwriting partnerships with iconic musicians, most notably Raul Seixas.
