Biography

Pedro Altério is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and music producer, and the son of renowned songwriters Rita and Rafael Altério. His passion for music manifested early on; he began his musical studies at the Conservatório de Música Livre de Tatuí at the age of 10 and composed his first melody, "Ouro em pó", at 12. After studying journalism for a year, he dedicated himself entirely to music, honing his guitar skills and launching his solo career.

His professional trajectory gained prominence with an invitation to present his compositions at Villagio Café, marking the beginning of a solid songwriting career in partnership with various artists, such as Dani Black, Pedro Viáfora, Zé Edu, Leo Nogueira, Du Françani, Rita Alterio, Rafael Alterio, and Paulo Novaes. In 2009, he founded the group 5 a Seco, alongside Tó Brandileone, Vinicius Calderoni, Leo Bianchini, and Pedro Viáfora, a project that brought him national recognition and led him to perform on major stages across Brazil.

As a solo artist, Pedro Altério released his debut album, "De Cara Limpa", in 2023, a work that explores his personal universe with eleven songs produced by Tó Brandileone. He has also participated in recordings and shows by renowned artists such as Ivan Lins and Luiza Possi, in addition to having his compositions recorded by names like Patricia Talem, Bruna Caram, and Tatiana Parra. Currently, he divides his time between music production in his studio and his performances, consolidating his position as a relevant name in the new Brazilian music scene.
