Biography

Pedro Paulo emerged on the Brazilian music scene in the mid-1960s, driven by "Jovem Guarda," a movement that revolutionized Brazilian popular music. His career began to take shape with appearances on television programs and the release of his first single records.

Throughout his career, Pedro Paulo recorded several songs, some in partnership with notable names such as Raul Seixas and Paulo Coelho. His work includes songs like "Estou voltando para casa", "Vou cantar pra subir" and "Suzana". Despite having had hits and important participations, his musical career suffered a decline with the changes in the Brazilian music landscape in the 1980s.

Pedro Paulo also had forays into the instrumental universe, working as a trumpet player and participating in relevant projects. He was a member of the Rio Jazz Orchestra and collaborated with artists such as Milton Nascimento and Caetano Veloso, demonstrating his musical versatility. His contribution to Brazilian music spans both the popular and instrumental strands.
