Biography

Pedro Sá is a Brazilian guitarist, bassist, vocalist, and record producer born in Rio de Janeiro. He first gained widespread attention in the 1990s as a member of the alternative band Mulheres Q Dizem Sim alongside Domenico Lancellotti. Over the decades, he has collaborated extensively with iconic Brazilian artists such as Tom Jobim, Jorge Ben Jor, and Lenine, establishing himself as a versatile and influential figure in contemporary Brazilian music.

In addition to his work as a sideman, Sá became a pivotal creative force in the second half of the 2000s by forming Banda Cê alongside Caetano Veloso, Marcelo Callado, and Ricardo Dias Gomes. As both a guitarist and producer, he helped reshape Veloso's sound on critically acclaimed rock-infused albums like Cê, Zii e Zie, and Abraçaço. He is also a member of the renowned Orquestra Imperial and has contributed to projects by artists such as Adriana Calcanhotto and Moreno Veloso.
