Biography

Pedro do Espirito Santo Sampaio, born in Rio de Janeiro on December 21, 1997, is a prominent Brazilian DJ, singer, songwriter, and music producer. His musical journey began at the age of thirteen when he explored percussion by playing on a bucket before moving on to instruments like the tantã, repinique, timbal, and pandeiro. Discovered by a DJ at a friend's party at fourteen, he later joined the team of Dennis DJ at seventeen, establishing his path in the music industry. He launched his professional career in 2017 by sharing remixed covers on YouTube, which helped him gain internet visibility and secure live performances featuring his own vocals and productions.

Throughout his career, Sampaio has achieved massive commercial success with chart-topping tracks like "Sentadão," featuring Felipe Original and produced by JS o Mão de Ouro, which climbed high on Spotify charts both in Brazil and globally. His second studio album, Astro, released in 2024, featured major hits such as "Escada do Prédio" with Marina Sena and "PocPoc." He has also collaborated with global superstar Anitta, serving as an opening act for her Baile Funk Experience tour in 2024, and has worked alongside legendary artists like Lulu Santos, whose music he famously covered while publicly coming out as bisexual during a festival performance in 2023.

In addition to his chart achievements, Sampaio signed with Warner Music Brasil in 2018 and later transitioned to Sony Music Brasil in late 2025. Known for blending vibrant electronic beats with Brazilian funk, he continues to shape the contemporary pop and funk scene in Brazil. His ability to produce infectious hooks and collaborate with diverse talents keeps him at the forefront of the country's modern music landscape.
