Peterpan, artistic name of José Fernandes de Paula, was born in Maceió on January 21, 1911. Throughout his trajectory in the Brazilian musical scene, he stood out as a pianist and composer, consolidating his presence in the history of national music. His artistic production encompasses recordings and compositions that dialogue with the country's rich musical tradition.

During his career, Peterpan contributed to the dissemination of popular songs, having important phonographic records such as the 78 rpm release containing the tracks "Lenda do lago" and "Raio de sol depois da chuva". His work as an instrumentalist and author reverberates the aesthetics of his time, maintaining connections with great names of Brazilian popular music like Ary Barroso and Radamés Gnattali.
