Biography

Pedro Geraldo Mazarão, known artistically as PG, was born in São Paulo on May 18, 1976. The singer began his musical journey in childhood and, after passing through independent bands like Corsário, achieved national notoriety as the vocalist and bassist of the Christian rock band Oficina G3, which he joined in the late 1990s. With the group, he participated in landmark albums such as Acústico and O Tempo, in addition to performing at Rock in Rio 3, cementing his name in the Brazilian heavy metal and gospel rock scene.

In 2003, after being ordained a pastor, PG left Oficina G3 to dedicate himself to his ministry and began his solo career the following year with the release of the album Adoração. As a solo artist, he built a solid discography that includes the acclaimed live work Eu Sou Livre and albums like Nova Vida, S.E.T.E and Eternidade, exploring sounds ranging from hard rock to congregational influences. Throughout his career, he has received gold and platinum certifications, as well as nominations and awards at prominent events in the gospel segment, such as the Troféu Talento.

Alongside his solo projects and work with the PG Trio, the musician returned to collaborate with former partners in commemorative tours of Oficina G3, celebrating decades of the band's history. PG's career is marked by a strong connection with contemporary Christian music in Brazil, remaining active both on stage and in pastoral activities. His work has influenced and dialogued with various names in national gospel music, such as Aline Barros, Fruto Sagrado and Anderson Freire.
