The Quarteto Jobim-Morelenbaum was a chamber music ensemble formed in 1995, dedicated to interpreting the vast and iconic repertoire of Antônio Carlos Jobim. The group's formation was deeply rooted in Jobim's legacy, featuring his son, Paulo Jobim, on guitar and vocals, and his grandson, Daniel Jobim, on piano and vocals. Complementing the Jobim lineage were cellist Jaques Morelenbaum and vocalist Paula Morelenbaum. Notably, Jaques and Paula Morelenbaum, along with Paulo Jobim, had previously been part of Jobim's final band, Nova Banda, before his passing in 1994. This close connection to the composer infused their performances with a profound understanding and reverence for his work.

The quartet's musical approach focused on faithful arrangements of Jobim's compositions, aiming to perpetuate his unique style and elegance.
