Rafa Barreto is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and guitarist born on October 21, 1985, in Salvador, Bahia. He gained national recognition after winning the third season of the reality television show Ídolos Brazil in 2008. His musical journey began at a young age, singing at 13 and composing by 16. Barreto's influences span a wide range, including Brazilian artists like Djavan and Lulu Santos, as well as international icons such as Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye.

Barreto's career has seen him release his debut album "Entre Becos" in 2009, featuring his own compositions. He has also collaborated with numerous Brazilian artists, sharing stages with Chico César, Elza Soares, and his father, the composer Vicente Barreto.
