Biography

Rafael Dias Machado, known artistically as Rafa Dias, was born in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, on January 21, 1986. His professional career began in the audiovisual field, producing his first film while still a teenager, which was selected for the Gramado Film Festival. After studying cinema and audiovisual at George Brown College in Canada, he returned to Brazil and worked at television networks such as MTV and Multishow.

In 2012, Rafa Dias took his first steps on the internet with the YouTube channel "Programa de um Cara Só". Realizing the market potential and the lack of structure for digital influencers, he founded Dia Estúdio, a production company focused on managing and developing content for content creators. The company, which started with five owned channels, quickly established itself as a network, bringing together and structuring channels in exchange for monetization.

Dia Estúdio expanded its operations and launched DiaTV, a free digital television network with 24-hour programming, presented as the "MTV of the internet". The initiative aims to offer a platform for content creators and reach an audience that consumes media predominantly online. Rafa Dias is recognized for his entrepreneurial vision in the digital market, transforming content production into a successful business.
