Biography

The band Rapazolla emerged in Salvador, Bahia, in November 2000, quickly standing out in the axé music scene with a mix of vibrant sounds and high spirits. From the beginning, the band sought to carve out its space with talent and seriousness, which led to national recognition. The initial trajectory included shows throughout the interior of Bahia, Sergipe, and northern Minas Gerais, a fundamental period for the musicians' maturation.

The big breakthrough came in 2005 with the hit "Coração", which reached the top of radio charts throughout Brazil and earned the band several important awards, such as the Troféu Dodô & Osmar and the Troféu Band Folia, cementing Rapazolla as one of the revelations of the Salvador Carnival. The band is known for its contagious energy in live performances, drawing crowds on sound trucks (trios elétricos) and stages.

Throughout its career, Rapazolla has undergone lineup changes, featuring vocalists like Tomate and Leandro Lopes, and more recently Froza taking over the vocals. In 2016, the band released the album "Risk Uma Nova História", exploring a more pop sound while maintaining the group's characteristic irreverence and attitude. The band continues to celebrate Bahian and Brazilian music, retaining a loyal following and the promise of unforgettable shows.
