Renan Inquérito, born Renan Lélis Gomes on April 20, 1984, is a Brazilian rapper, poet, writer, and educator. His journey in Hip Hop culture began in 1997, and in 1999 he founded the rap group Inquérito, which became one of the genre's exponents in Brazil. With a consolidated career spanning over two decades, Renan Inquérito uses music and literature as tools for social transformation, addressing themes such as life in the periphery, resistance, and the pursuit of knowledge. His work is marked by lyrical depth and the ability to connect with diverse audiences, from children to adults.

A graduate in Geography from UNICAMP, where he also completed his master's and doctorate degrees, Renan Inquérito moves between the academic and artistic worlds with mastery. He has worked as a teacher in various institutions, including rural settlements and Fundação Casa, sharing his knowledge and inspiring young people through art. His work as an art-educator reinforces the belief that Hip Hop is a powerful tool for rescue and human development, demystifying stereotypes and promoting citizenship.

Throughout his career, Renan Inquérito has released several albums with the group Inquérito and as a solo artist, as well as poetry books.
