Flávio Renegado, born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, on May 7, 1982, is a prominent Brazilian rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his socially conscious lyrics and eclectic musical style. Growing up in the Alto Vera Cruz favela, Renegado found his voice through music, blending elements of rap, hip hop, samba, reggae, MPB, and funk into his unique sound. Renegado's career gained national recognition with the release of his debut album, "Do Oiapoque a Nova York," in 2008, which earned him an award at the Prêmio Hutúz.
