Biography

Ricardo Côrte Real is a Brazilian actor, singer, composer, writer, and marketing professional born in São Paulo. Starting his television career at the age of ten, he starred alongside his family in the 1960s TV Record sitcom Papai sabe Nada, a satire of an American show. He later gained widespread recognition for his role as Sócrates, the intellectual son in the iconic comedy program A Família Trapo, where he performed alongside notable figures such as Jô Soares and Ronald Golias.

Transitioning into his passion for music during his youth, Corte Real formed a blues band and went on to collaborate with various musical groups and artists, including Renato e Seus Blue Caps and Agnaldo Rayol. Over the decades, his multifaceted career expanded across television hosting, acting, and radio, notably presenting the game show Supermarket in the 1990s and hosting a blues program on Kiss FM. He also made memorable appearances in children's television like Rá-Tim-Bum and various theatrical productions.
