Ricardo Mosca is a prominent Brazilian musician, producer, and sound engineer with a career spanning over two decades. He is recognized for his extensive work in popular music, particularly within the MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) scene. Mosca's musical journey began with formal studies in popular music at UNICAMP, followed by specialized training in drums at the Drummers Collective in New York and the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California. His technical expertise was further honed through studies at IAV in São Paulo and Mix with the Masters in France, establishing him as a versatile professional in the music industry.

As a drummer, Mosca has collaborated with a wide array of esteemed Brazilian artists, including Mônica Salmaso, Dori Caymmi, André Mehmari, and Zé Miguel Wisnik, among many others. He is also a key member of several musical groups, such as Pau Brasil, Mani Padme Trio, and the Nelson Ayres Trio and Big Band.
