Biography

Ricardo Bonadio, better known as Rick Bonadio, was born in São Paulo on June 21, 1969. He began his journey in music in the 1980s by working as a musician and opening a small studio, expanding his work over the years as a highly prominent music producer, songwriter, and manager on the national scene.

Throughout his career, Bonadio spearheaded the production of landmark albums for Brazilian music, working initially with Christian rock before achieving massive commercial projection. He was responsible for discovering, producing, and managing the phenomenon Mamonas Assassinas, in addition to collaborating with major rock and pop exponents such as Charlie Brown Jr., NX Zero, and Rouge.

In addition to his work in the studios, Rick solidified his image on Brazilian television by participating as a judge on musical talent shows such as Popstars, Ídolos, and X Factor, besides creating important labels like Arsenal Music and Midas Music. His work in the recording industry helped shape sounds and launch dozens of successful artists alongside partners from the Brazilian music scene.
