Biography

Rick & Giovani is a sertaneja duo formed in 2017, composed of Rick Sollo (formerly of the duo Rick & Renner) and Giovani (formerly of the duo Gian & Giovani). The partnership emerged after the separations of their original duos, as a side project to their solo careers.

The project "Dois Corações" celebrates the trajectory of both artists, mixing hits from their previous duos with unreleased songs. The idea for the union came about at an event, where the chemistry between the two was noticed by the public, leading to the conception of the project which includes shows, an EP with new songs, and, in the future, a CD and DVD.

The duo is known for their striking voices and their ability to move between different styles within sertaneja music. Rick, in addition to being a singer, is a renowned songwriter, with several songs recorded by major names in the genre, such as Chitãozinho & Xororó and Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano. Giovani also has a consolidated career, having achieved great success with his brother Gian in the 90s and 2000s.
