Norbert Küpper, known by his stage name Riovolt, is a German composer and producer who blends Brazilian musical influences with electronic genres. His music is characterized by a fusion of samba, forró, and bossa nova with electronica, drum and bass, breakbeats, funk, and jazz. Riovolt's sound is designed for dancing, lounging, and clubbing, aiming to create sophisticated music that is both uplifting and movement-inducing.

Küpper's musical journey began in his youth, playing funk, fusion, and soul. His immersion in Brazilian music deepened during his time living in Rio de Janeiro, which significantly shaped his artistic direction. This experience is reflected in his moniker, Riovolt, and the vibrant, rhythmic nature of his compositions.
