Biography

Rodrigo "Barba" Lins Martins is a Brazilian drummer born in Rio de Janeiro on January 23, 1979. He is best known as the drummer for the influential Brazilian rock band Los Hermanos, which he joined in 1997. Los Hermanos achieved significant success in Brazil, releasing several acclaimed albums that showcased a blend of rock with Brazilian musical influences.

Following a hiatus in Los Hermanos' career, Barba became involved in various other musical projects. He toured with the hardcore band Jason and was part of the band Latuya, which was recognized as one of Rio de Janeiro's best bands in 2000. In 2007, he joined the band Canastra and has also been the drummer for the band Ramirez. More recently, he has explored instrumental music, collaborating with other musicians in projects like the band Celeste.

Barba's musical contributions extend beyond his drumming. He has also delved into the mathematical aspects of music, as seen in his work with Celeste, where concepts like the "Benford's Law" influenced their creative process. His career highlights his versatility and consistent presence in the Brazilian music scene, collaborating with a diverse range of artists and bands.
