Biography

Rodrigo Gorky is a renowned Brazilian music producer, songwriter, and DJ, born in Alegrete, in Rio Grande do Sul. His career in music began to take shape in Curitiba, where he dropped out of his mathematics degree to dedicate himself entirely to music production. Initially, he worked as a DJ, creating mashups and participating in bands. His friendship with Marina Vello and Pedro D'Eyrot was fundamental to the creation of Bonde do Rolê in 2005, a project that mixed carioca funk with various musical styles and achieved international projection, even playing at the Coachella festival. Bonde do Rolê was a milestone in his trajectory, opening doors for future collaborations and consolidating his name in the Brazilian pop scene.

Throughout his career, Rodrigo Gorky has stood out for his versatility and ability to innovate, becoming one of the most sought-after producers in national pop music. He is widely recognized for his work with Pabllo Vittar, being responsible for producing several hits that propelled the artist's career, such as "K.O.", "Sua Cara", and "Amor de Que". In addition to Pabllo Vittar, Gorky has also collaborated with other big names in Brazilian music, including Banda Uó, Luiza Possi, Anitta, Urias, Preta Gil, Iza, and Major Lazer, among others. His musical signature is marked by his audacity in challenging mainstream pop and by incorporating diverse elements, creating unique and catchy sonorities.
