Biography

Rodrigo Fernando Amaral Silva, known artistically as Rodriguinho, was born in Bauru on February 27, 1978. He began his prominent journey in national music in the 1990s, initially joining the group Muleke Travesso before teaming up with other members to found the famous group Os Travessos in 1996, where he served as the main vocalist and achieved great popular projection in the pagode and romantic samba scene.

Throughout his career, Rodriguinho alternated between periods in Os Travessos and work on a solo career. He released several highly acclaimed albums and DVDs, such as "Uma História Assim" and "O Mundo Dá Voltas", in addition to important collaborative projects like the group Legado, formed alongside his brother Mr. Dan and his son Gaab. He also built a solid reputation as a songwriter, penning hits in partnership with longtime friends, such as singer Thiaguinho.

In addition to his striking contribution to Brazilian romantic music and pagode, Rodriguinho expanded his media presence by participating in the twenty-fourth season of the reality show Big Brother Brasil in 2024. His work remains deeply rooted in the history of 1990s and 2000s pagode, influencing new generations and maintaining active partnerships with various names from the country's music scene.
