Rogério Caetano is a renowned Brazilian musician, 7-string acoustic guitarist, arranger, music producer, and composer. Born in Goiânia, he holds a bachelor's degree in composition from the University of Brasília and a master's degree in music from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Recognized as an award-winning virtuoso, he has established himself as a major reference for the 7-string guitar, introducing a modern approach distinct from the traditional style pioneered by figures like Dino 7 Cordas.

Throughout his career, he has built an extensive discography featuring eleven albums, including notable collaborations with artists such as Yamandu Costa, Hamilton de Holanda, and Cristovão Bastos. His contributions to the instrument also extend to music education; he co-authored the instructional method "Sete cordas, técnica e estilo" alongside Marco Pereira, which serves as a definitive guide for playing the instrument within the realms of choro and samba. His artistic reach has expanded globally, with performances in numerous countries across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.

In addition to his instrumental work, Caetano has recorded and performed with legendary icons of Brazilian popular music, including Zeca Pagodinho, Paulinho da Viola, Beth Carvalho, Caetano Veloso, and Maria Bethânia.
