Biography

Rosa de Saron is a renowned Brazilian Christian rock band formed in 1988 within the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement in Campinas, São Paulo. Emerging during church masses and youth gatherings at the Menino Jesus de Praga Catholic Community, the group evolved to use heavy rock and alternative sounds to evangelize, becoming true pioneers of Christian rock in Brazil. Over the decades, their unique musical style blended elements of hard rock, heavy metal, and alternative rock, earning them a dedicated following both within and outside the religious sphere.

The band achieved major national success after signing with Som Livre in 2009, leading to multiple gold and platinum records as well as Latin Grammy nominations. Throughout their extensive history, they have performed at massive international events, including World Youth Day (JMJ) in Madrid and Rio de Janeiro, representing Brazilian youth. They have also collaborated with notable artists such as Oficina G3, Maurício Manieri, Leonardo Gonçalves, and Padre Fábio de Melo.

Following the departure of longtime frontman Guilherme de Sá in 2019, the group welcomed new vocalist Bruno Faglioni, initiating a fresh cycle in their career. With over three decades on the road, millions of digital streams, and celebrated releases like Lunação and In Concert, Rosa de Saron remains one of the most prominent and influential Christian rock bands in Brazilian music history.
