Biography

The group Saia Rodada was born in Caraúbas, in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte, in 2001, evolving from older local musical formations such as Grupo Show Styllus. Commanded from the beginning by the striking voice of Raí Soares, the band soon consolidated itself in the electronic forró scene with hits such as "Problema Meu" and "Cara a Cara", marking the first phase of its trajectory of great popularity in the Northeast.

Over the years, the group went through several lineup changes, featuring stints by well-known vocalists such as Poliana, Nathália Calasans, and Doidim de Mossoró. The release of their first DVD in 2005 propelled the band to national recognition, driven by hits like "Coelhinho" and by the creation of the innovative project "Saia Elétrica", which brought forró to the top of electric trios and served as a reference for other major names in the genre.

In the following decade, after celebrating ten years of a career with a commemorative DVD in Recife, the group knew how to reinvent themselves and returned to the peak of success with resounding hits such as "Filho do Mato" and "Bebe e Vem Me Procurar". With millions of views and plays on digital platforms, the band shares a prominent space in Northeastern music with consecrated names like Wesley Safadão, Calcinha Preta, and Aviões do Forró, remaining one of the main exponents of stylized forró in the country.
