Selvagens à Procura de Lei is a Brazilian rock band founded in 2009 in Fortaleza, Ceara, by Gabriel Aragao, Rafael Martins, Nicholas Magalhães, and Rodrigo Brasil. Emerging as a prominent force in the country's independent rock scene, the group combined influences from classic 1980s Brazilian rock with 2000s indie rock acts like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys. Over the years, they released multiple studio and live albums, earning acclaim for socially conscious anthems such as "Brasileiro" and performing at major festivals including Lollapalooza Brazil and Rock in Rio.

The band's trajectory encompasses several acclaimed releases, starting with their early EPs and the 2011 debut album "Aprendendo a Mentir," followed by their self-titled major-label release in 2013 during a period of intense social protests in Brazil. Their third album, "Praieiro," introduced a more danceable sound incorporating reggae and regional percussion, while subsequent projects like "Paraíso Portátil" explored deeper introspective themes. Mentioned by veteran artist Dinho Ouro Preto as a standout act of the 2010s, they helped revitalize political discourse within contemporary national rock.

Following internal restructuring and lineup changes in the 2020s, founding member Gabriel Aragao continued the project with a new lineup, maintaining the band's legacy in Brazilian rock.
