Silvanno Salles, born Silvano dos Santos Reis in Simões Filho, is a renowned Brazilian singer celebrated as one of the pioneers of the arrocha musical rhythm, which originated in Bahia and gained national popularity. Overcoming a challenging childhood marked by poverty and hardship, he transitioned from working as a street market vendor to pursuing his passion for music. Before embarking on his successful solo career in 2001, he performed with musical groups such as Estilos Modernos and Brisa da Noite.

Throughout his prolific career, Salles has earned the affectionate titles of the "passionate singer" and the "king of arrocha," releasing numerous albums and establishing himself as a fixture of the genre alongside contemporaries like Pablo. His distinctive voice and romantic style have allowed him to collaborate with prominent figures in Brazilian music, including Amado Batista, Bruno e Marrone, Ivete Sangalo, and Carlinhos Brown.
