Biography

Silvero Pereira is a celebrated Brazilian actor, director, and performer born in Mombaça, Ceará, in 1982. Graduating in performing arts from the Federal Institute of Ceará, he built a foundational career in regional amateur theater before establishing prominent artistic groups in Fortaleza, such as the Inquieta Cia. de Teatros and the Coletivo Artístico As Travestidas. His acclaimed theatrical work, particularly the play BR-Trans, propelled him into broader national prominence and laid the groundwork for his eventual transition to film and television.

His breakout television role came in 2017 when he portrayed Nonato in Glória Perez's prime-time telenovela A Força do Querer, earning critical acclaim and several newcomer awards. He achieved further cinematic distinction playing the hero Lunga in the 2019 science fiction film Bacurau, a performance that garnered him the Grande Otelo for Best Actor from the Brazilian Cinema Academy.
