Sinistra is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in 2016 by guitarist Edu Ardanuy and vocalist Nando Fernandes. The lineup was completed with the addition of bassist Luis Mariutti and drummer Rafael Rosa, both of whom have played in prominent names on the national rock and metal scene. The band quickly began working on their debut album, released in 2022, which received critical and public acclaim. The self-titled album "Sinistra" was recognized as one of the highlights of the year by the specialized magazine Roadie Crew, standing out for its heavy and powerful sound, with elaborate riffs, intense and melodic vocals, and lyrics that explore dark and mysterious themes.
