Yasmim Pinto da Silva, known professionally as Slipmami, is a Brazilian rapper and hip-hop artist who emerged from Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro. Her musical journey began at home, influenced by her mother's collection of 80s and 90s international hits, later expanding to include the themes and aesthetics of emocore. Initially, she explored "shit-rap" under the moniker Slipknstot, a tribute to the band Slipknot, releasing singles on SoundCloud and YouTube between 2018 and 2019. Her artistic style often incorporates elements of her emocore influences, creating a unique blend within the Brazilian rap scene.

At the age of 20, Slipmami signed with the Brazilian label Heavy Baile Sounds, marking a significant step in her career. She began releasing a series of singles produced by collaborators such as Leo Justi, AG Beatz, and Vhulto. Her debut EP, "Gostosa Posturada," was released in October 2021, featuring notable artists like Késia and Rafu. This was followed by her debut studio album, "Malvatrem," in January 2023, and her sophomore album, "Até aqui, Slip nos ajudou," in September 2024.
