Sofia Oliveira is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and YouTuber born in Curitiba. She began her musical journey at a very young age, learning to play the guitar and piano by age nine before gaining national prominence as a teenager by posting popular cover songs on her YouTube channel, particularly utilizing the cup song format. Her online success earned her several accolades, including victories at the Capricho Awards and Meus Prêmios Nick, eventually leading to a record deal with Warner Music Brasil in 2017 where she released her debut EP, Garotas Não Mordem.

In 2019, her career expanded internationally when she was invited to participate in the British reality competition X Factor Celebrity. Mentored by Simon Cowell, she became a member of the Latin girl group V5 alongside artists from Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Cuba, finishing in fourth place and making history as the first Latin group to reach the show's final. Following the competition, the group rebranded as ANGEL22 due to trademark considerations. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various notable artists such as Mexican singer Dulce María, bridging her early internet stardom with international pop ventures.
