Solange Almeida Pereira is a renowned Brazilian singer and songwriter, born in Alagoinhas on August 29, 1974. Throughout her career, she has been a prominent voice in the forró genre, most notably serving as the lead vocalist for the immensely successful band Aviões do Forró from 2002 to 2017. Before achieving national stardom, she honed her craft by performing with numerous regional groups, including Terríveis, Banda G, and Caviar with Rapadura.

Her journey in the music industry spans decades and multiple musical projects across northeastern Brazil. After parting ways with Aviões do Forró, she continued her musical endeavors with her own ensemble, Big Band SA, alongside musicians like Pedro Riquelme. Beyond her secular career, she has also explored gospel music following her conversion to the Assembly of God church.
