Biography

Soraya Ravenle is a renowned Brazilian actress and singer, born in Niterói, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The daughter of Polish-Jewish immigrants and sister of fellow singer Ithamara Koorax, she began her artistic career on stage in 1986, after graduating from the Calouste Gulbenkian acting course. Throughout her career, she has established herself as one of the great references in musical theater in Brazil, participating in dozens of prominent productions and collaborating with important names in national culture.

In addition to her solid career in theater, Soraya has built a remarkable career in music and television. In music, she was a member of the group Arranco de Varsóvia in the 1990s and collaborated with artists such as Fernanda Abreu and Marcos Sacramento, in addition to releasing original albums and singles. On television, she has participated in high-ratings Rede Globo soap operas, such as Vale Tudo, Laços de Família and I Love Paraisópolis, demonstrating her artistic versatility between acting and singing.
