Biography

Suely Brito de Miranda, known artistically as Sula Miranda, was born in São Paulo on November 12, 1963. She began her artistic career as a member of the group As Melindrosas, which achieved enormous popular success in the 1970s with significant record sales.

In 1986, she launched a solo career dedicated to the sertanejo genre, aligning herself with the movement known as "new sertanejo" or urban-sertanejo. With the major impact of the song "Caminhoneiro do Amor," composed by Joel Marques, she quickly won public recognition and the title "Queen of the Truck Drivers," consolidating herself as one of the great female names in sertanejo music alongside artists such as Gretchen, her sister.

Throughout her career, Sula expanded her work into television and radio, hosting various programs focused on the popular and women's universes. In later phases of her musical trajectory, she also dedicated herself to recording gospel music albums, maintaining her relevance in the Brazilian artistic scene.
