Suzana Pires de Carvalho is a Brazilian actress, screenwriter, and writer, born in Rio de Janeiro on June 13, 1976. Raised in a family with diverse religious roots encompassing both Catholicism and Judaism, she pursued higher education and earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Her artistic training includes studying interpretation under notable figures such as Fátima Toledo and Camila Amado, laying a strong foundation for her versatile career in Brazilian entertainment.

Her television debut occurred in 1994 with the series Confissões de Adolescente, paving the way for numerous roles in productions like Tocaia Grande, Agora É que São Elas, and various appearances in shows such as Linha Direta and Toma Lá, Dá Cá. Her major breakthrough came in 2009 when she portrayed the character Ivonete in the telenovela Caras & Bocas, earning widespread recognition and acclaim in the television industry. Following this success, she took on dual roles in the 2011 telenovela Fina Estampa as Marcela and Joana, and later expanded her talents into writing, co-authoring the 2016 telenovela Sol Nascente alongside Walther Negrão and Julio Fischer.
