Biography

Tacy de Campos is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actress born in Curitiba. She began her musical journey performing in the underground bar scene of her hometown before gaining national prominence in 2014. Selected from over a thousand candidates, she landed the lead role in the acclaimed biographical production Cassia Eller, O Musical, touring all twenty-seven Brazilian capitals and earning a nomination for the Bibi Ferreira Award as Best New Actress.

Following her theatrical success, Tacy established herself as a solo recording artist, releasing her debut independent studio album O Manifesto da Canção in 2017. The record featured ten original tracks, including the single "Pra Você Saber," co-written with Jana Figarella. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with prominent Brazilian artists such as Nando Reis, Zelia Duncan, and Mart'nalia, solidifying her place within the contemporary Brazilian rock and MPB landscape.

In addition to her work interpreting the legacy of iconic figures like Cassia Eller through special projects and tribute shows, she has continued to release independent music digitally, including singles like "Eu Não Te Amo Mais" and "Bananeiras e Tâmaras." Her artistry bridges the gap between theatrical performance and contemporary songwriting, drawing deeply from the rich traditions of Brazilian popular music and rock.
