Tambores do Pelô is a Brazilian percussion group founded in Salvador, Bahia, in 1991 by Mestre Jackson, a renowned percussionist and a key figure in the development of Samba-Reggae.

The group emerged from a project aimed at showcasing the unique rhythms and percussion techniques of the Pelourinho neighborhood, a historic center in Salvador known for its vibrant Afro-Brazilian culture.
