Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen Cabuli is a Finnish singer and songwriter, world-famous for having been the original lead vocalist and founder of the influential symphonic metal band Nightwish, of which she was a part between 1996 and 2005. Recognized for her impressive lyric soprano vocal range and for incorporating elements of opera and classical music into heavy metal, she built a solid solo career after her departure from the group, releasing acclaimed albums such as My Winter Storm and Colours in the Dark.

Throughout her artistic journey, the singer has established important partnerships with various exponents of international and national music, including notable collaborations with the heavy metal band Angra and acclaimed Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro.
