Biography
Teo Dornellas is a Brazilian instrumentalist who began his career at the age of thirteen in the city of Araçatuba, playing in churches and forming early bands. Early on, he gained notable experience by working for eight months with the influential group Banda Kadoshi, before eventually dedicating himself to the instrumental rock genre. Over the years, he established a prominent career in Christian music, collaborating with several well-known artists and bands.
As his career progressed, Dornellas became closely associated with prominent figures in the Brazilian gospel scene. He worked with vocalist PG, formerly of Oficina G3, contributing to the artist's debut solo album Adoração—which achieved a gold certification from ABPD—as well as subsequent projects. In 2008, he collaborated with drummer Lufe on his solo endeavor Drummed of Classics, and he has also performed with the band Novo Som.
In addition to his studio and collaborative work, Dornellas is active as both a music teacher and a performer. Although he was invited by David Quinlan in 2010 to join his band in Belo Horizonte, logistical challenges prevented that partnership from moving forward. Today, he continues his musical journey as a member of the rock gospel band New ID.
