Biography
Thedy Rodrigues Corrêa Filho was born in Porto Alegre on July 26, 1963. He began his journey in music in the mid-1980s when he took on the vocals for the rock band Nenhum de Nós, a group with which he achieved enormous national prominence early in his career through the classic "Camila, Camila". Over the years, he has spearheaded established hits of Brazilian rock, including "O Astronauta de Mármore", "Eu Caminhava" and "Extraño", cementing the band's name in the country's scene and participating in landmark moments, such as the trip to Expo Shanghai 2010.
In addition to his work with Nenhum de Nós, Thedy expanded his artistic endeavors into literature and parallel recording projects. In 2005, he released the album Loopcínio, in which he reinterpreted the work of the gaucho composer Lupicínio Rodrigues with electronic arrangements and a modern, romantic pop language. This album won awards in the alternative category of the Palco MP3 application, demonstrating the artist's versatility beyond traditional rock.
As a writer, he has published several works that mix poetry, short stories and memoirs of his musical career. His literary debut took place in 2006 with the book Bruto, which brought together poems and the behind-the-scenes stories of Nenhum de Nós compositions. Later, he released Livro de Astro-Ajuda in 2010 and the short story collection Imersão in 2019, demonstrating his strong connection with writing and gaucho culture.
