Biography

Thiago Bertoldo, born Guilherme Steffler Bertoldo in Ijuí, Rio Grande do Sul, is a well-known Brazilian singer, songwriter, and musician specializing in sertanejo music. From a very young age, he showed a deep passion for music, starting to play the accordion at just four years old and performing at local traditionalist centers by the age of ten. After forming an early duo with his brother, he expanded his professional horizons by joining established dance bands and eventually becoming the lead vocalist for groups such as Os 4 Gaudérios and Grupo Tradição, where he notably succeeded Michel Teló as the lead singer.

In 2013, he adopted the artistic name Thiago and partnered with singer Thaeme Mariôto to form the immensely popular sertanejo duo Thaeme & Thiago. Alongside Thaeme, he contributed to major musical successes, including charting hits and serving as a producer for their widely celebrated DVD projects like Ethernize and Novos Tempos. His musical journey highlights his versatility within the genre, transitioning from traditional gaucho music to mainstream contemporary sertanejo.

Beyond his established career in music, Thiago has also ventured into television and reality programming, notably participating in the fifth season of the reality show Power Couple Brasil alongside Geórgia Fröhlich. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with and shared stages alongside notable artists of the Brazilian music scene, cementing his presence in the country's vibrant entertainment industry.
