Biography

Thiago Brava, the stage name of Thiago de Morais Ramos, was born in Goiânia on June 14, 1986. He began his musical studies at age twelve, after receiving a cavaquinho from an uncle, although his parents initially disapproved of an artistic career and encouraged him to pursue studies in Advertising and Marketing. Having graduated with a postgraduate degree in the field, he worked as a marketing coordinator before finally surrendering to music following the success of home videos on the internet.

His professional career received a major boost in 2012 with the hit "As Mina Pira" and, soon after, with the national consolidation of the song "360, O Arrocha do Poder", written by himself. Using his creative and marketing-savvy repertoire, the artist helped popularize and revolutionize the rhythm of arrocha within the sertanejo universitário scene. Over the years, he has released several notable works, such as the DVD Ao Vivo em Goiânia and expressive hits like "Dona Maria", recorded in partnership with Jorge, from the duo Jorge & Mateus.

By consolidating his career on the national scene, the singer has collaborated with several important names in Brazilian music, including Gusttavo Lima, Cristiano Araújo, Lucas Lucco, and Zé Neto & Cristiano. His work easily transitions between commercial sertanejo and influences from funk and pagode, remaining a fixture on radio hit lists and digital platforms across the country.
