Biography

Thiago Caitano Romeiro Pantaleão is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and dancer born in Vassouras and raised in Paracambi, Rio de Janeiro. Growing up in a conservative evangelical family where his mother sang and his father played instruments, he began singing in church at an early age. After coming out as LGBTQIA+ during his adolescence, he faced personal challenges and eventually left the church to embrace his true identity, later gaining initial prominence through social media platforms like TikTok.

In his musical work, Pantaleão addresses themes of self-acceptance, identity pride, and the defense of diversity and anti-racism. He broke through the national pop scene with early tracks like "Tipo Iza"—which caught the attention of established artists such as Liniker and Iza—and his 2021 partnership with Danny Bond on "Te Deixo Crazy." His debut studio album, Fim do Mundo, was released in 2022 under Som Livre, blending pop and rock elements inspired by anime and K-pop culture, and leading to performances alongside Gloria Groove and Priscilla.

Continuing his career momentum, he released the EP Nova Era and later expanded his discography with further collaborations featuring prominent Brazilian acts like Anitta, Preta Gil, Karol Conka, and Gloria Groove. Beyond his musical achievements, Pantaleão has been recognized for his advocacy for LGBTQIAPN+ visibility and body positivity, performing at major festivals such as Rock in Rio and expanding his international reach with a show at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
