Biography

Thiago Pethit, artistic name of Thiago Fidanza Correa da Silva, was born in São Paulo on September 17, 1982. The artist consolidated his career in the Brazilian music scene as a singer and songwriter, in addition to working in other artistic fields, such as audiovisual production and acting, having participated in the film Amores Urbanos.

His debut studio album, Berlim, Texas, released in 2010, launched his work nationally and earned him the MTV Bet Award at the VMB of the same year, even featuring actress Alice Braga in one of his music videos. Throughout his career, Pethit expanded his reach with productions such as the album Estrela Decadente (2012) and the record Mal dos Trópicos (2019), which was recognized among the best of the period by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics.

His work has also left its mark on highly visible television and streaming soundtracks, such as the song Forasteiro in the telenovela Velho Chico and the track Romeo in the Globoplay series Shippados. The singer navigates sounds that dialogue with rock and MPB, reflecting the versatility of renowned names in national music such as Ney Matogrosso and Cazuza.
