Biography

Tiago Donato Abravanel Corte Gomes, artistically known as Tiago Abravanel, was born in São Paulo on October 21, 1987. Descendant of a traditional family of artists and entrepreneurs, he began his artistic trajectory in theater in 2004, quickly standing out in musical productions of great national projection. Over the years, he built a multifaceted career encompassing television acting, voice acting work, and the consolidation of his musical side.

One of the most striking moments of his artistic consolidation occurred in 2011, when he starred in the acclaimed show Tim Maia - Vale Tudo, a staging based on the biographical work written by Nelson Motta. His praised interpretation of the singer Tim Maia opened doors to new horizons in television drama, earning him an invitation from author Glória Perez to act in the soap opera Salve Jorge, on TV Globo, a job that guaranteed him the breakthrough award on the Domingão do Faustão show.

Expanding his work into music, Tiago began his recording career with the release of his first single in 2014, even performing at the Brazilian Day festival in New York, where he shared moments with big names in Brazilian music like Ivete Sangalo. In addition, he maintained a strong connection with musical theater throughout the decades, culminating in the production, direction, and performance in the new Brazilian version of the classic Hairspray in 2024.
