Biography

Thiago Iorczeski, better known as Tiago Iorc, was born in Brasília, Distrito Federal, on November 28, 1985. His childhood was marked by moves, living in London and Cambridge, in England, and later in the United States, before returning to Brazil and settling in Curitiba, Paraná. His interest in music emerged early, at 8 years old, when he started playing the acoustic guitar. His musical career gained notoriety in 2006, after a performance at a music festival at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. Initially, Iorc composed and sang in English, which earned him international recognition, with his debut album "Let Yourself In" (2008) achieving success in Japan.

The transition to Portuguese marked a new phase in his career, especially starting from the album "Zeski" (2013), which featured collaborations with artists such as Maria Gadú and Silva. The album "Troco Likes" (2015) consolidated his success in Brazil, with songs like "Amei Te Ver" and "Coisa Linda". Throughout his journey, Tiago Iorc has demonstrated versatility, exploring genres such as folk-pop, indie rock, and MPB, and collaborated with several names in Brazilian music, including Sandy and Milton Nascimento. His music frequently integrates soap opera soundtracks and advertising campaigns, which has contributed to his wide exposure.

Tiago Iorc is recognized for his striking voice and for compositions that move between pop, romantic, and intimate styles. In 2018, the artist announced a hiatus of almost two years, a period during which he stepped away from social media and public life to reconnect with himself, returning in 2019 with the acclaimed album "Reconstrução". His career is marked by awards, including multiple Latin Grammys, and by a genuine connection with the audience in his live performances.
