Biography

Tierry, stage name of Tierre de Araújo Paixão Costa, was born in Salvador, Bahia, on April 29, 1989. Before consolidating his path as a performer, he built a prominent reputation behind the scenes of national music as a songwriter, creating hits that gained national projection in the voices of renowned artists such as Gusttavo Lima, Ivete Sangalo, and Claudia Leitte. Among his most prominent compositions is the track "Cem Mil," written in partnership with Gusttavo Lima and consecrated as the most played song on Brazilian radio in 2019, which earned him the nickname "Tiehit."

Before venturing into a solo career in 2015, Tierry was the lead singer of the band Fantasmão, dedicating himself to pagode baiano, also known as swingueira, between the years 2010 and 2015. As a solo singer, he began charting hits in his own voice, achieving great repercussion with tracks like "Cracudo," "Casado, Namorando, Solteiro," and "Moça do Espelho." In the year 2020, he consolidated himself in the arrocha genre by placing songs like "Rita" and "HB20" in the Spotify Brazil top 200, with "Rita" reaching the top of the streaming charts.

In 2021, he recorded his first DVD, titled "O Pai das Crianças," which featured the mega-hit "Cabeça Branca" and further consolidated his popularity in the Brazilian music scene. Throughout his personal and public life, he maintained relationships widely reported by the media, such as with singer Gabi Martins, and remained active on stage, bringing his music to audiences across the country.
