Biography

Formed in 2018 in Serrinha, Bahia, Toque Dez is a Brazilian arrocha band led by vocalist Milsinho (Edmilson Santos de Jesus). Before founding Toque Dez, Milsinho was part of other musical projects, including Encantos do Arrocha and Swing do Gueto. The band quickly rose to prominence, topping download charts on the 'Sua Música' platform in 2020 and becoming the most hired band during the São João festival in Bahia in 2024. Their music blends traditional Northeastern Brazilian rhythms with contemporary production, creating a sound that resonates widely.

Toque Dez has released a prolific discography, including over 20 studio and live albums, and numerous singles. They are known for their energetic performances and have a strong presence across Brazil, particularly in the Northeast. Their hits often feature emotional lyrics and catchy melodies, making them a staple in the arrocha and forró scenes. The band's success is a testament to their dedication and the growing popularity of these Brazilian genres.

Beyond their musical achievements, Toque Dez has also been recognized for their impact on the arrocha scene. Milsinho, as the frontman, is a key figure in popularizing the genre, and his collaborations with other artists, such as Nadson O Ferinha, further solidify their influence. The band continues to tour extensively and release new music, maintaining their status as one of Brazil's most beloved arrocha acts.
