Biography
Trio Alvorada is a Brazilian forró band formed in São Paulo in 2004. The group's mission is to revive classic traditional forró and infuse it with a fresh sound, characterized by a smooth cadence and a carefully curated repertoire. Their musical influences are deeply rooted in the rich tradition of Northeastern Brazilian music, citing icons such as Luiz Gonzaga, Jackson do Pandeiro, Dominguinhos, and Marinês as key inspirations.
The band has gained recognition through performances at significant events, including São Paulo's "Virada Cultural" and "Aniversário de São Paulo," held at venues like Parque do Ibirapuera and Parque Anhembi. They have also performed in various SESC units across the state and in prominent forró venues throughout Brazil. Trio Alvorada has also participated in major traditional forró festivals, steadily building a dedicated fan base across the country.
Trio Alvorada's current lineup consists of Eder Fernandes (vocals and triangle), Chuvisco do Acordeon (vocals and accordion), and Guga Braúna (vocals and zabumba). They have released several albums, including "Forró até a Alvorada" (2010), "Pode Balançar" (2011), "3" (2013), and "Trio Alvorada 10 Anos" (2014), and have also been featured on various forró compilations.
