Biography

Tropkillaz is a prominent Brazilian electronic music project formed in 2012 by the talented DJs and producers André Laudz and Zé Gonzales. The duo quickly rose to international prominence when their remix of the duo N.A.S.A.'s track "Hide" was featured as the centerpiece in a high-profile Sonos commercial, which reached an estimated 100 million viewers during the 2013 Super Bowl. Prior to this massive television exposure, they had already built a solid reputation that earned them invitations to perform across Europe, showcasing their unique fusion of heavy bass and urban rhythms.

Over the years, Tropkillaz has continued to expand its creative footprint both in electronic music and broader Brazilian popular culture. In 2015, they brought their energetic live set to the massive Tomorrowland festival in Brazil, further cementing their status as heavyweights in the national electronic scene. Their production prowess has also made them sought-after collaborators for top-tier national acts.

Demonstrating their versatility across different genres, Tropkillaz notably collaborated with acclaimed artist Criolo on his 2012 (noted as 2022) album "Sobre Viver", contributing production to several tracks including "Diário do Kaos", "Moleques São Meninos", "Crianças São Também", "Sétimo Templário", and "Quem Planta Amor Aqui Vai Morrer". Through these ventures, Tropkillaz remains a defining force in modern Brazilian music production.
