Biography

Túlio Dek, born Túlio Lemos Andrade Filho in Goiânia and raised in Rio de Janeiro, is a prominent Brazilian rapper and visual artist. He initially played the acoustic guitar in his youth before discovering his passion for rap music while living in Los Angeles, United States. His career gained significant momentum in 2008 when he signed with Arsenal Music and released his debut album, "O Que Se Leva da Vida É a Vida Que Se Leva", produced by Rick Bonadio and DJ Cuca. The album featured the major hit "Tudo Passa", a collaboration with Di Ferrero from the rock band Nx Zero, helping establish his presence in the national music scene alongside collaborations with artists like Paulo Miklos and Helião.

Throughout his career, Túlio Dek has crossed paths with major international and domestic acts, notably opening for American rapper Ja Rule in São Paulo in 2009 and earning the Troféu Internet for best singer that same year. After spending several years focusing on his visual arts career, which included his 2019 exhibition "Reflexo" in São Paulo, he returned to music in 2018. Collaborating with carioca rapper Xamã and producer Charlie Beat, he released the EP "Guerreiros da Luz" under Bagua Records, blending his enduring passion for hip hop with his artistic sensibilities.
